The search of the slayer of God. Here's a finished concept... finally! I have been throwing out so many speed paints the past week or 2. Will throw out some more soon! I thought i'd get my butt to have a concept finished this time around, and it's for my project "Ancient Exiles." I hope you guys enjoy. I streamed this through my stream session. Come join me and follow me to have some fun!

Also I am bugged out where to place Matte Paintings under... I would believe it would go under photo manipulation? I would think so. I did paint over quite a bit so I just hope it's in the right category.

The photomanipulation category is usually fine for matte paintings (photomanipulators often paint quite a bit as well). Unless you also use 3D bases, then it would go into Digital Art > Mixed Media.
Actually, many people place their matte paintings in the drawings/paintings categories, which in my opinion is wrong. But with more and more people using photo textures in all of their paintings the line becomes thin.

Regarding the image - I like it! You could be more precise around the earth/rocky part of the cliff, but given it's a "speed paint" I think it's fine. :)

Sweet, thank you for clarifying this Erik! It has always been a "where does this go" moment when uploading matte paintings. And also, thank you for pointing out the earth/rocky cliff. It was jagged and not properly masked right. I went ahead to fix it! Thanks again :)

yeah, it's iffy because there's no category for it. But in the end it's not such a huge problem if it's in the wrong one. It's just that different people are browsing each category so you might not get the right audience in the worst case. But good art will alsways find its way :D
